Jodell Bumatay History

Due to a series of car accidents and sports related injuries, I had sustained bone and muscle injuries, which would not heal. I had been in chronic pain for seven years and had a bone graft surgery and three bone surgeries until I began seeing Psychic Healers for relief.

In the midst of my own healing crisis, my Filipino Grandfather died and I began hearing his voice talking to me. Because he was a real person, I began to realize that my dreams and the teachers within them were real too. He has been a spirit guide to me and shown me many things since his death.

While living, Grandpa Bumatay trained me to use my Third Eye via games that exercised my sense of perception. He engaged me in what he called,

"It's Magic, Hunny."

His Magic Tricks trained me to see things that other people do not. As a young child, I did not know the difference between material objects and non-material objects. Objects were changeable to me. My Grandfather exercised this sense of being in between worlds of solid and non-solid forms. He seemed to be able to command the world of objects in ways that left me believing in the power of his magic.

After his death, my Grandfather began to awaken me to the Teachings of My Ilocano Ancestors. In visions and dreams, he guided me through lives that we had shared as daughter and father in an Ancient Asian Dynasty. He brought me to a Sacred Being who was the Lineage Holder of our Spiritual Traditions.

During college, I began to seek teachers who would be able to explain these mysteries to me. I studied with psychic healers, readers and teachers to understand and use my own spiritual knowledge. It had not dawned on me that my psychic abilities had been trained since my child- hood and that there were many experiences that were unexplainable by many of my teachers and mentors. Several teachers kept telling me that I was an Advanced Student although I was not aware that I had Advanced Psychic Skills.

Along the way, I received healings by hands-on practioneers, one who was trained by a Filipino Psychic Surgeon who trained healers in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. I actually never remembered his name because I did not want to believe in the existence of Filipino Psychic Surgery as being real. I had to train with other powerful healers, who were from various traditions of Tai Chi, Gigong and Reiki in order to be able to release my dread of Becoming a Psychic Surgeon and accept my heritage within the Ilocano Tradition.

Since childhood, I have followed my Spirit Guides who have guided me. I was guided to healers, teachers, and ultimately to all the knowledge that I ever need. They have taught me how to heal my self through the teachings that I now teach in workshops. I call my work The 7 Modes of Lucidity.

My life work has been to refine my teachings and my mission has been to teach them to groups of people who will use them to heal others and train other Light Body Workers. Students who have come with the preparation of years of massage, energy, and metaphysical training make a transition from the conceptual to experiential state of psychic awareness, sensitivity, and process.

In sharing my work with Jamie T. Licauco, he revealed to me,

"I believe you are one of those (Psychic Surgeons) being trained by spirits directly..."

Mr. Licauco does not endorse me or any other Psychic Surgeon yet he has been an internationally acclaimed author, researcher, and lecturer who has recorded biographical and observetional views and viewpoints of Philippine Psychic Surgeons since the late 1970s. Scientists, Medical Doctors, and laymen consider Mr. Jaime T. Licauco to be the Filipino authority on writing accounts of the Philippine Psychic Surgeons.

Traditional Tribal Healers pass through phases of life and death initiations which are validated and recognized by Tribal Members. The Elders of the Tribe pass on their knowledge throughout their lifetimes and are revered. The reverence of such beings is beyond the imagination of civilized peoples. I can only say that the power of love emanated from beings who sacrificed their entire body, mind, and soul to the care of their relationships is a blessing that I would not trade for any thing in the world. The heritage of my Ancestors is a treasure which I am proud to have been bestowed.

The survival of Psychic Surgery has been carried to modernity by those who have had the faith that there would be a time when sharing this knowledge would release the power back to the people who believe in the power of healing - in the spirit, by the spirit, and of the spirit.

We are born from spirit and die to spirit.
