I appreciate the research that Rev. Harvey Martin III has contributed to the understanding of Philippine Psychic Surgery. He agrees that the Spirit Directed Psychic Surgery is authentic:
"With the growing scientific evidence for the existence of life after death and the scientific proof of the efficacy of prayer, the reality of the unseen world is gaining credence. As Western culture grapple with the existence of the parallel dimension that exists in contradiction to the very premise of scientific materialism, the Filipinos have moved into a new and highly advanced Spiritual Dispensation. They believe that this Third Dispensation, in which the Holy Spirit will bring about the perfect spiritualization of humanity, is the core of the prophesies of Jesus." (last para UNRAVELING THE ENGIMA OF PSYCHIC SURGERY)However, my point of view comes from the Oral Tradition of Arneldo Bumatay, my Ilocano Grandfather who passed down his Ancestral Lineage to me via stories about our Ancestors. And, though my Grandfather trained my mind to accept "magic" I was led to see truth through deception or illusion via his guidance. I mean that I was trained to observe reality beyond my own projections.
In my indoctrination as a Psychic Surgeon, I was trained in my sleep by Spirit Guides throughout my childhood. When I contacted Jaime T. Licauco, he told me, "I believe you are one of those trained by Spirit directly." Through my studies of Mr. Licauco's works it was explained that it is normal for Filipina/o children to see Spirits and the world around them as a Living Dream. This is how my Grandfather trained me, to see life through the Eyes of Magic - a Living Lucid Dream. This has been validated for me by associates who were raised in other tribes of the Philippines.
The Ilocano Tribe are one of over ninety Indigenous Tribes of the Northern Luzon. Bumatay means "Gatekeeper of Death and Rebirth" in the Native Tongue of my Ancestors. Psychic Surgery is part of our Indigenous Sacred Knowledge. As such, there are levels or phases of it that are not mentioned in any previous literature, because the knowledge was passed down through Orality (Orality includes oral traditions passed on via stories, poetry, and songs). I have been working on tracing the roots of the Indigenous Tribes. Anthropological sources suggest that those tribes have remains going back towards the thousands of years vs. hundreds. Being that my last name is Ilocano and Sanskrit, the meaning preceded the Spanish Colonialism and therefore demonstrates that the Bumatay Headhunters' Sacred Rites and Rituals are part of a Primal Religion vs. an evolution of Christianity that granted my Spiritual Power to my Anecestors: the knowledge is embedded childrearing by the Elders. Stories passed down through other tribes relate with eachother the commonality of folk tales of other interdimensional beings and humans who have had supernatural powers.
This particular understanding of the Origins of Psychic Surgery will be controversial for those who hold onto the ideals of Christianity. Though the Catholic Church has maintained a reign of over two thousand years, the Sacred Knowledge of my Ilocano Ancestors have not ceased to exist. It was only until the later 1880s that peoples of the Philippines were allowed to learn Spanish. Evidence for this fact lies in the reality that distant cousins who are Indiginous Ilocanos accepted the Muslim Tradition (the Muslims had arrived centuries prior to arrival of the Catholics in the 1550s) and that the Muslim Ilocanos also accepted the Ilocano Psychic Surgeons as Healers. Therefore the Tribal Practices are accepted because of the Familial Ancestoral Relations vs. the Religious Affiliations and Belief Systems. In the provinces, the Sacred Traditions and History were passed by the Elders.
In truth, the Elders passed on the knowledge in a way that would be unnoticeable to outsiders. They worked telepathically in visions and dreams - whether deceased or not. They learned to conceal their knowledge from foreigners while passing them onto their relatives. My own Grandfather never used the words "Jesus", "Spirit", or "God". He made jokes about practicing "Magic". Thus he made my indoctrination into the Sacred Teachings of my Ancestors a fun and entertaining experience for me. He also passed on the knowledge without forcing me to "believe" anything I could not observe or experience my self. In this gift, he showed me how to trust my own experiences.
The truth is that the Teachers of the Ilocano Tribe come through Ancestral Lineages through dreams and visions. I would not have believed it if I did not live it myself. It is through the experience of being born into the Tribe that brings the Truth of the Ancestral Knowledge to or through me.
However, in the early 1900s, due to some Tribal members being guided to Protect the Sacred Knowledge, a Spiritst Church was formed in order to Sanctify the Ancient Teachings through Modern Religion. This opened the Gateway for the Old Generations to pass on the knowledge to the new generations without Persecution. My Grandfather was born at this juncture in history. He learned from his elders who had not yet become Espiritistas as that movement was merely forming in unity as an organization.
Yet, Granfather Bumatay's cousins were involved with the founding of the Union of the Espiritistas de Filipinas in 1905, near the year of his birth (he did not have a Birth Certificate and it was believed by my Grandmother that he was born between 1903-7). His Elder Sister Feline became a Tradional Ilocano Healer while he supported the extended family from his work in for the United States Civil Service.
The Inner Spirit Guides of the Ilocano Traditions are not authenticated by Historical Records but by Experiences with the Ancestors as Spirit Guides. In this regard, no one can sell or steal this knowledge. However, one can be initiated into it by initiation through the process.
That is why when some Westerners tried to buy their Spiritual Power, they were denied. Spiritual Power is to be earned through Self-Discipline. This was embedded into me as a child. In my teachings, I introduce students through the phases of initiation in order that they can incorporate their Spiritual Knowledge and Power through Self-Discipline and Integrity.
Whether Philippine Psychic Surgeons work together or separately, it is known among them that the Spirit Guides work with all of them as a Group Mind. I initiate students into this Group Mind and it brings them into the Psyche of the Tribe. Ancestral Spirit Guides will work with anyone who has the Integrity to Accept the Power and Use it with Discernment.
As for the Bare Handed Psychic Surgery, I prepare students to Accept the Spirit Guides so that if/when they are Spiritually Prepared, they can Accept that Power as a Gift of the Spirit. Director of MISAHA entered my life as a researcher of Alternative Healing Arts and validated my work. His associate Lee Pulos, M.D., Clinical Psychologist, had experienced his own hand entering the Spirit Body of another person while he was under the supervision of a Philippine Psychic Surgeon.
In my relations with one of the Founders of FMBR and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of MISAHA, I have learned that the Scientists, who have studied Psychics over the last 10 years, are no longer perplexed about "whether psychic phenomenon is real?" but now are more interested about asking "How does it work?" In their scientific venture, I was asked to become an Advisor on the FMBR Board of Officers.
My Grandfather expressed his wishes that I attain a college degree. And, although he wanted me to become a professional - doctor or lawyer - my undergraduate degree (Liberal Arts/Philosophy - cum laude) prepared me for entering any graduate degree based upon my grade average. By that time, my Grandfather had died, and I was being prepared to become a Psychic Surgeon. My studies in logic prepared me to be able to explain the Process of Becoming a Psychic Surgeon.
Because of both my preparation in the Spirit World and the Logic of the Mind, I was asked to be one of the Psi Healers tested by MISAHA. Mr. Savva has a list of Psi Healers from around the world and has shown me his files and video clips of Psychics who are Miraculous to say the least. MISAHA's Board of Advisors is composed of well known doctors, psychologists, scientists, and engineers.
MISAHA publishes the Scientific Research Abstracts of the Laboratory Experiment Studies of Psi Healing and Psi Healers around the World. This Psychic could break an egg so that Dr.Lee Pulos could see the egg white and yoke, and before the eyes of observation, the egg passed through the stages of growth until it reached becoming a chick(Lee Pulos. "As clinical psychologist interested in paradoxical manifestations of human mind, I had an opportunity to observe exceptionally psi-gifted individuals on the Philippines and in Brazil. Outstanding abilities of Thomaz Morais Coutinho of Brazil are described in our 1990 book "Miracles and Other Realities" (Omega Press) co-authored with Gary Richman.
Thomas produced the most remarkable effect – accelerated embryonic development of unfertilized chicken eggs – at least four times. The first fully successful incident occurred in 1982 in presence of several friends and observers including a physician, a psychiatrist and local judge, in a restaurant setting.
Following his "inner voice", he requested that fifteen eggs be purchased at a local market and placed at the table before him. After a period of deep trance, he cracked the eggs one by one and broke their contents into a large flat bowl. Looking highly excited, he kept his hands, palms down over the eggs. Slowly, the yolks began to change their texture, solidifying and becoming darker. Different densities began forming and within five minutes, the fetal forms of baby chicks could be identified. Over the next two minutes, the internal organs of the embryos could be seen through the membranes. After nine minutes, the first sounds of life were heard — the “ cheep-cheeping” of little chicks.
From the fifteen eggs nine baby chicks were hatched. Five of the nine died within three days. In one of the next three demonstrations only half of the chicks survived and apparently developed normally. The described session was photographed in a series of consecutive frames that will be presented at the meeting. Dr. Pulos has tested Psi Healers or Psychic Surgeons in both the Philippines and Brazil. The common element is the spontaneous generation of cellular tissue or organs from an unsolid state to a solid state. Hence this demonstrates that Psychic Surgeons possess the knowledge of Genesis, the Life Process of Generation and Regeneration. Psychic Surgery, no matter whether using Instruments such as the Brazilians are known to have done since Arigo the Rusty Knife Surgeon was studied by Andrija Puharich, M.D. in the 1960s or Bare Handed Psychic Surgeons such as Alex Orbito and other Philippine Surgeons studied by many scientists, this knowledge is rooted in the knowledge of the Cycles of the Forces of Nature. Therefore, when Scientists learn how to duplicate the process, they will understand the techniques used by the Psychic Surgeons.
DOLFINA agrees with the Theory of the Biofield which is the result of research done by Russian Scientists during the last century. This research demonstrates the existence of a Biofield which controls the DNA of the Body. This Paradigm fits into the Ancients Beliefs of my Ilocano Ancestors and Tribes of other Continents.
The Research on the Biofield will not only validate the Experience of being a Light Being within a Body, but it will change our Modern Scientific Theories of the Mind-Body connection thus resulting in a radical shift in our view of the world.
In an article about the Placebo Effect, scientific laboratory results demonstrate that the Placebo Effect works when the Experimenter believes it will work and does not work when the Experimenter does not believe it will work (MISAHA Newsletter Issue 30-31. Beyond the Placebo Effect, Jerry Solving, PhD). This is in agreement with the Teachings of my Ilocano Ancestors who believe that certain people have more Faith and thus more Power. This is why Psychic Surgeons of the Philippines are referred to as Faith Healers among the Natives.
The issue that arises for the Scientists is the problem; "How do you have faith?" This is the Paradox between Science and Religion - Proof and Belief. Yet, both Science and Religion require a suspension of Judgement in order actually perceive the evidence of the proof in order to believe. Thus we arrive in the Millennium of Accepting Science and Religion as the dual sides of the same coin.
My Guides have given me the Power to perform Third Eye Psychic Surgery. This procedure is a technique in which I am able to open the Third Eye of another Person. Although I had been given this gift by my Grandfather, I had no use for it until I became an adult working as a Healer.
After I became a Healer, Spirit Guides - one being my Grandfather Bumatay - talked to me in my ears while I was working on people. In this way, I was given directions to do and say certain things and learned that I could open another person's Psyche so s/he could See/Hear/Sense Spirit Beings - Deceased Loved Ones and Guides.
In my meditations - visions and dreams - my Guides explained to me in the week of June 16, 2000, that there would be a World Energy Crisis and that I had to prepare as many people who were ready for the Near Death Experience so that they could Live through the Earth Changes. So, that year, healings and guidance coming through me was to prepare people to pass through the Gateway of Death and Rebirth into the White Light and Experience being a Light Being.
I have been surrounded by Light Beings and Light Workers my entire lifetime. Being Psychic was normal for me as a child. My Anglo-Saxon Aunts are members of the Catholic Church and the Mormon Church; and, they have regular visionary experiences within their religious context. My Catholic Aunt supports my work by sending me articles about the Psychokinetic Abilities of Catholics, also known as the Stigmata. My Mormon Aunt has experienced visiting the Ghosts on the Old Family Ranch that her father, my Grandfather Cartwright was born. This ranch was built on a Sacred Native American Burial Ground and my Christian Mother, my Biblical Teacher, has worked with the Spirit of my Grandfather Cartwright to release the family from the curse on her family tree.
Psychic abilities are universal (examples: Uri Geller and Judith Orloff who were born Jewish, Sun Chu Lin - Chinese, Sai Baba - Indian , Joao - Brazilian Spiritist) however due to suppression of individuals by one's social caste or religion, one's orginal Soul may not be apparent or present in one's daily life. Unlike Civilized Culture all children were given the same training of the Elders in Primitive Tribes. So, for instance, my own brother recalls the same stories and magical teachings of our Grandfather Bumatay yet he is not a Psychic Surgeon but works with electronics and yet he is very aware of his own psychic guidance.
Psychic Surgeons are not treated like Gods or Goddesses but are regarded with the utmost respect and reverence for their knowledge and power; this is the same respect that is granted to Elders of the Tribe or Familial lineages. In other words, no more and no less respect is granted. Elders of the Tribe are revered. That is why Psychic Surgeons of the Philippines tend to seem like normal people. They are not trying to impress anyone with their abilities, they merely use them as necessary. Plus, among the Psychic Surgeons it is known that misusing Psychic Gifts cause negative influences (also known as Evil Spirits) to affect one's life. So, practioners of Psychic Surgery are diligent to work with proper intent and integrity. This knowledge can be traced back to the Ilocano Headhunters whose rituals included excorcism of evil spirits, especially via Head Hunting.
Although both of my parents were raised Catholic, I was introduced to many faiths by both relatives and friends of the family who would often invite us to their churches such as Science of the Mind Church, Spiritualist Church, Pentacost Church, Catholic Church, and the Mormon Church. I always believed that when Jesus said, "I am the light", he meant, "I am a Being of Light"; and, when he said, "You can do as I do", he meant, "You can do what I do." I was Baptized Baptist when I was seven and Pentecost when I was adult nearly 20 years later. A year after my journey with the Pentacosts, who validated my experiences with the Light Beings, I founded DOLFINA - A Ministry of Lucidity within the AIWP Church because the AIWP allowed me freedom to bring out my Soul Teachings and express my self as an individual.
The core Teachings of my Grandfather Bumatay emphasized the importance of the Family Tree - the Ancestral Tree. Some mystics describe the Tree of Life as a Symbolic System. In the Ilocano version, the Tree of Life Begins with the Living Family and is traced through the Roots of the Ancestors who are in the Spirit as Guides for the Tribe. He emphasized that the sustenancece of our being came from both food and family relations. Without the balance of those two there is no life. In his emphasis, like the cultures of the Philippines, the Family Tree is a familial connection that expands across time and space. Thus, whether a family member is of Christian or Muslim Religion this is not more important than the Family Tree.
When it is quoted from the Bible that Jesus said, "Love thy neighbor as thyself", this is implied in the Tribal Tradition that thy neighbor is thy blood and therefore is thyself. And, when two warring Headhunters negotiated peace, they made a Blood Compact. The Blood of both Parties created an alliance of bringing thy enemy into thy Family Tree.
Blood is the common element that not only symbolizes unity, but has been scientifically proven to be a link between beings. In experiments by Cleve Backster cellular membranes were scrapped from the inside of a subjects' mouth and placed onto a glass slide. The cells on the slide and the subject were simultaneously monitored by a Galvanic Skin Response device while the subject was shown a video of a young woman being raped:
"Here is a typical case of bio-communication, or as Backster prefers to call it, primary perception. A female donor of her oral blood white cells is asked to watch an episode of television's "Hill Street Blues." She is about a half-mile from where her oral cells are being monitored. Backster focuses one camera on the television show and another camera on the results (readout) of the monitoring so that the two can be seen simultaneously on split-screen television. An early scene depicts an undercover policewoman held in a car by a would-be rapist. An immediate reaction is recorded on the monitor's tracing. Thus the teachings of my Ilocano Ancestors has been proven as a universal truth by scientists. The fact that Headhunter Tribes of the Philippines exchanged Blood as a Peace Pact demonstrates that they were aware that the blood was more than a mere symbol but was the Living Flesh of the Spirit. Tribes who were connected by Blood Pacts were connected telepathically, thus in Spirit and Body.
The interpretation of the Third Dispensation of Jesus in which I am familiar relates to the Spirit being Revealed because each person becomes aware of his/her own Holy Spirit - our personal connection with the Source. The true Enigma of the Philippine Psychic Surgeons is not that they gain power through their belief in Jesus. There are Chinese Psychic Surgeons who are not Christian and live in the villages of China. The real Enigma lays in the fact a Headhunter Tribe of the Philppines could Interpret the Teachings of Jesus through the Lense of their Sacred Traditions and Spiritual teachings and reveal the teachings through their own Spiritual Guides. The DOLFINA Mission specifically addresses the quality of Spiritual Freedom in which both Individuals and Groups are Co-Creators with the Absolute - Primal Source.
My Soul - named Dolfina - gave me the Mission to work with my Ilocano Ancestral Tree in order to Participate in the Redeeming of the Indigenous Tribes of the Earth so that our Planet may come into Balance with the Forces of Nature. Sacred Tribal Traditions are based on describing the logical order of the Forces of Nature. Each Tribe has a set of teachings that reflect their own unique observations and experiences of these forces and yet the goal of all traditions is to be able to experience Being in the Spirit.
DOLFINA associates with other organizations who are working on similar visions and missions. DOLFINA - College of Lucidity of AIWP is a Ministerial Training Program for Healers and Teachers who will be serving the Planet as Ministers of the many dimensions of the Spirit.
